Frequently Asked Questions

How do Pieluck drops work?

Pieluck is pre-order only.

Each weekly drop features two full-size pies: one of our classic Pieluck flavors and one limited special.

Pre-orders open Thursday and stay open until that week’s available pies are claimed. Then we bake everything fresh for weekend delivery.

When do pre-orders open?

Every Thursday.

The exact drop time may vary, so the best way to catch it is to join the Lucky List. We’ll text you when ordering opens with that week’s two flavors and a direct link to order.

How do I know what this week’s flavors are?

We reveal both flavors when the Thursday drop opens.

Lucky List members get the menu and order link right away, before we start announcing the drop elsewhere.

Why should I join the Lucky List?

Because we can only make so many pies each week.

If there’s a pie you see and absolutely have to try, the Lucky List gives you your best chance of actually getting one. We’ll text you as soon as the drop opens so you can order before that week’s pies are claimed.

Join the Lucky List here.

Can I order a pie anytime?

No. We only take orders during our weekly pre-order drops.

If ordering is currently closed, check back Thursday or join the Lucky List and we’ll text you when the next drop opens.

What flavors do you offer?

Every drop has two choices:

One Pieluck Classic — one of the flavors we come back to again and again.

One Weekly Special — something different, seasonal, experimental, nostalgic, or just too good not to make.

The special changes from drop to drop.

Will special flavors ever come back?

Some will. Some might not.

If we love a flavor—and you do too—there’s a good chance we’ll eventually bring it back. But we don’t promise repeats, which is one more reason not to sleep on a weekly special you really want to try.

What size are the pies?

Our regular weekly drops currently feature full-size pies.

We’re also experimenting with mini pies behind the scenes, so they may occasionally make an appearance as a special offering in the future.

When are the pies made?

After pre-orders are placed, we bake fresh for the weekend.

Most production happens Friday and Saturday so your pie is made as close to delivery as practical.

When will my pie be delivered?

Local deliveries go out Saturday and Sunday.

Because we group orders into delivery routes, we can’t guarantee an exact delivery time. Delivery details will be communicated with your order so you know when to expect your pie.

Where does Pieluck deliver?

We currently offer local delivery from Eagle Mountain, Utah, with delivery pricing based on distance.

Current delivery rates are:

  • 0–10 miles: $10
  • 10–15 miles: $15
  • 15–20 miles: $20
  • 20–25 miles: $25

For farther delivery areas, availability may depend on having enough orders headed in the same direction.

Your delivery options will be shown during ordering.

Can I pick up my pie?

Not currently.

Pieluck is delivery only, so your pie comes to you.

Do you ship pies?

Not at this time.

Pieluck currently serves customers through local delivery only.

Can I choose an exact delivery time?

We can’t guarantee exact delivery times because orders are grouped into efficient delivery routes.

We’ll provide delivery information so you know when to expect us, but if you have an important timing issue, contact us and we’ll do our best to help.

What happens if the pie I want sells out?

Once we’ve reached the number of pies we can make that week, pre-orders close.

We don’t want to take more orders than we can make well, so when a flavor is gone, it’s gone for that drop.

If you missed it, get on the Lucky List so you’re ready when the next one opens.

Do you make custom pies or custom flavors?

Not currently.

Our focus is making the weekly Pieluck menu as good as it can be rather than taking individual custom orders.

If there’s a flavor you’d love to see in a future drop, though, we absolutely want to hear about it.

How should I store my pie?

It depends on the flavor.

Many Pieluck pies—especially cream, custard, or other refrigerated pies—should be kept cold. Other styles may have different storage recommendations.

We’ll provide the appropriate storage instructions for the pie you order. When in doubt, keep it refrigerated.

How long will my pie stay fresh?

That depends on the type of pie, so we don’t use one blanket rule for every flavor.

Your pie will come with the appropriate storage guidance. For the best texture and flavor, we generally recommend enjoying it sooner rather than trying to make it last all week.

That usually isn’t the difficult part.

Do you accommodate food allergies?

Please review the ingredient and allergen information provided with each pie before ordering.

Our kitchen handles common allergens including wheat, milk, eggs, soy, and tree nuts, and products may be prepared using shared equipment and work surfaces.

Because of that, we cannot guarantee that any Pieluck product is completely free from allergens or cross-contact. If you have a serious food allergy, please contact us before ordering.

What if I have another question?

Send us a message through our Contact page.

We’re happy to help with ordering, delivery, ingredients, or anything else standing between you and your pie.
